Based at our Cyclewise Whinlatter premises in Whinlatter Forest near Braithwaite, Keswick we can offer a selection of quality mountain bikes for hire. All of our bikes are provided by Cube who are renowned for their wide range of bikes and quality products. The hard tail fleet consists of 40 Cube 'Acids' a solid and capable all round hardtail equipped with disc brakes, front suspension forks and a deore groupset. These are available from 14"-20" in size. We also have a selection of Full suspension Demo bikes including Cube Fritzz, Stereo, AMS 125, AMS Ladies Pro. (for Demo bikes in particular we thoroughly recommend reserving before your visit using our online reservation system) Please note our bike hire fleet consists of modern and capable bikes of a very high standard. We recommend you reserve your bike online if you are visiting on a weekend or holiday by clicking here for our ONLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM alternatively contact us on 017687-78711 HIRE PRICES: £10 for 1 hour Bikes reserved online can be for any of the above durations (except demo bikes which are all day), just pay when you arrive! Proof of I.D is required for all hires and a credit card is required as a deposit. Click here to reserve a hire bike if you missed the link above. We are also able to offer VHoldr Helmet Cams at £25 per half day, these cams are ideal for filming your mountain bike action and come fully charged with 2 gb micro sd card to record upto 2 hours of 30 fps footage. This footage will be copied to a dvd for you to view at home. Ask for a demo at Cyclewise Whinlatter. - We can only guarantee to reserve hire bikes if they are pre-paid using our online paypal payment system. - Pre-booked hardtails cost £20 per day, full suspension demo bikes cost £40 per day, helmet cams are £25 per half day. - When collecting the hire bike, we will ask to retain either a valid credit / debit card and / or photo ID in the form of a driving licence or passport (no other forms of ID will be accepted). - A helmet is provided with every hire bike and although not compulsory (yet), we strongly urge all our customers to wear one. Any additional body protection required should be brought with you or can be purchased in our Cyclewise Whinlatter bike shop. - Presently, we do not supply 'emergency' kits. Things like inner tubes, puncture kits, tools etc should be brought with you or can be purchased at our Cyclewise Winlatter bike shop. - Signing of the hire agreement agrees liability for damages to the bikes/camera that render them inoperable (this includes punctures). We strive to be fair in assessing any damages and will only ask for costs at trade prices. We don't seek to profit from damages, merely get the bikes back on the fleet for others to enjoy our trails. CANCELLATIONS : Refunds will only be given with a minimum 24 hours notice period. Cancellations made on the day will not be refunded. |
